Blasting the heat
If you suffer from insomnia during the colder months, it could be because you’re blasting the heat in your house too high. Experts have agreed that the temperature of the room you’re sleeping in is directly related to the quality of sleep you will receive. If you are too hot while sleeping, your body will automatically raise its heart rate and begin to sweat in order to cool you down. So next time you find yourself tossing and turning, or simply feeling exhausted upon waking up, try turning down that thermostat to a cool 62 degrees Fahrenheit.
